He was predeceased by: his parents, Raeford Franklin Mendenhall and Margaret Barker Mendenhall; his daughter Sandra Levesque; and his brother Mark Curtis Mendenhall. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Boehme (Nawfal Ali) of Berlin, Germany; his grandchildren, Julie Lewis, Emily Jayes, Lea Boehme and Lujain Ali; and his brother Carl Mendenhall of Sophia.
