He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Watson and Lucille Spencer; his son Michael T. Watson; his stepdaughter Melissa Walker; and his siblings, Bert Watson and Susan R. Watson.
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Isaacs Watson; his children, Johnathan M. Watson and Michelle W. Collins (Jason); his stepdaughter Michele Tate; his grandchildren, Jennifer W. Hubbard (Gannon), Lacey Watson, Mason Collins, Brady Collins, Joey Watson and Amy Watson; and his stepgrandchildren, Christian and Cameron Walker. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Floral Garden Park Mausoleum Chapel (1730 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262).
