She is survived by: her daughters, Melisa Simmons (Michael) of Sophia and Jennifer Staley of Sophia; her sister-in-law Inez Hoover of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Caleb Simmons (Victorian), Casey Simmons (Addie) and Jessica Melton (Nolan); and her great grandchildren, Sadie, Gracie, Conrey, Elbi, Ollie, Julia, Braydon and Easton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
