Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roger Kirk of Sophia, North Carolina, born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 71, on September 8, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Kirk and Marcille Kirk; his brother Ernie King; and his son Chris Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kirk; his children, Ginny Hall (Jamie), Johnny Kirk and Richard Jones; his siblings, Darlene Parris, Dave Kirk (Annette), Paul Kirk (Michelle) and Jason Kirk (Irene); his grandchildren, Brandon (Jess), Damien and Cayden; and his great grandchild Lainey Grace.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, in honor of the care and compassion they provided in his final days.
