She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Shirley Maness and Ray Maness; her great-grandparent Mable Stack; her aunt Teresa Norris; her grandparents, Bill and Juanita Whitesell; her aunt Diane; and her uncle Kenneth Whitesell.
She is survived by: her husband David Nelson; her children, Cynthia "Cindy" Medley, Charles "Chuck" Medley, Michael Stanley and Mary Stanley; and her parents, Charlie Whitesell and Sandra Whitesell.
