He was predeceased by: his parents, Yvonne "Vonnie" Alford Thompson and William Evon "W. E." Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Spivey Thompson; and his sons, Ethan Thompson (Katelyn) and Austin Thompson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
