She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Croy and Bonnie Ruth Peterson Croy; her husband John Rudolph Werderman III; her children, Orenia "Binky" Grothe and Grady Werderman; her half-brother William Croy; and her foster parents, Grady Robinson and Arie Robinson.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara "Sissy" Marrs (Randy) of South Mills, NC, Chris Werderman of Clayton, NC and Jonathan Werderman (Kelly) of South Mills, NC.; and her sister Bobbie Sue English of Mapleton, GA.
