It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Anthony Leary of South Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Wiley Leary (Dorothy Elizabeth Winner Leary) and Janet Ann Grunawalt Leary; his brother Mark Leary; and his sister-in-law Linda Leary. He is survived by: his children, Erin Stallings (Delton), Tim Leary and Shawn Leary; his grandchildren, Nolan Leary, Greyson Stallings and Clayton Stallings; his brothers, Henry Leary, Eddie Leary (Beverley), Ronnie Leary (Sally) and Gary Leary; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Leary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
