Jochens; his stepchildren, Sherry Pippen (Ron), Mark Caldwell and Steven Caldwell; his grandchildren, Tucker Caldwell and Lane Caldwell; his siblings, Deborah Hand and Jeffrey Jochens (Elizabeth); his aunt Barbara Callis; his nieces, Stephanie, Rachel and Amanda; his nephew Christian; his great-nieces, Baylee, Maren and Eleanor; his great-nephew Zander; and his cousin Louie. He is also survived by his many cousins, his extended family, and a community of lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to support children's fishing programs and youth events.
