She was predeceased by: her former husband James Seagroves; her sons, Danny Seagroves and Joey "Tinker" Seagroves; her granddaughter Eliza Seagroves; and her siblings, Herman Johnson, Alfred "Pee Wee" Johnson, Louise Rogers, Betty Lou Lima and Ellen Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Glenn Deese; her children, Susan Watson (Steve), Stephen Seagroves and Scott Seagroves; her sisters, Ruby Flinchum (Mack) and Mary Lee Francis; and her stepchildren, Glenn Deese, Kathy Van Boskerck (Rodney) and Wayne Deese. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
