He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Gilbert Boyte and Nettie Margaret McKenzie Boyte; his wife Ruby Spainhour Boyte; his son Steven Boyte; and his siblings, Odell Boyte, Rowland Boyte, Carolyn Lamm and Nancy Wallace.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Brock; his son-in-law Ed Stallings of Aberdeen; and his sister-in-law Betty Ingram (David) of Amelia, VA..
