It is with sadness that the passing of Corey John Hibbard (Southern Pines, North Carolina) is shared. Corey, born on February 27, 1977 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on September 9, 2026. He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Brantner; and his aunts and uncles, Karen Hibbard, Shirley Johnson, Christine Fedie, Robert Duckworth and Dennis Hibbard.
He is survived by: his mother Kathy Hibbard of South Carolina; his wife Bobbie Jo; his children, Tasha Sorenson of Marston, Melissa Riyevski (Greg) of West End and Brandon Sorenson of Hartsville; his stepmother Kay Brantner of Florida; his siblings, Zach Potts (Heather) of Wisconsin, Darren Potts (Cassie) of Wisconsin and Natasha Alameda (Michael) of Jacksonville, Florida; and his grandson Odin Riyevski.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pinelawn Cemetery (1105 Morganton Rd, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
