He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cushman and Florence Cushman of Hillcrest Heights, MD.; and his sister Carolyn Chaney of Riva, MD. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Roberson; his children, Topher (Deborah) of Washington, DC and Heather of Ft. Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Carly, Jack, Eliza and Cate; and his brother Michael (Denise) of Mandeville, LA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home Chapel (425 W Pennsylvania Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (160 E Vermont Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
