He was predeceased by: his father James Larry McRae, Sr.; and his wife Edna Marie McRae. He is survived by: his mother Rosa McDonald McRae; his children, Melissa Johnson of Southern Pines, Jack McRae, Jr. of Biscoe and Timothy McRae of Florida; his siblings, Anna Reynolds of Southern Pines, Darlene Douglas (Willie) of Hoffman and James Larry McRae, Jr. (Jori) of Illinois; and his close friend Priscilla Hause. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
