He is survived by: his son David Burris (Deborah) of Southern Pines, NC; his brother William Burris (Gail) of Oakridge, TN; his son-in-law David Sparrer of Gloucester, VA; and his grandchildren, Tavis, Wendy Sparrer of Washington, DC, Vincent, Sara, Joshua and Lilah Burris.
