It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Taverner (Southern Pines, North Carolina), born in Saint-Catharines, Ontario, who passed away on November 3, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Taverner and Annie Taverner; and his stepdaughter Lisa Ferris. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sister Barbara Hawkins (Doug); his stepdaughter Tara Collins (Gary); and his son-in-law Scott Ferris (Teri). He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
