He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Theresa (Siljan) and Myron Conrad Austinson; and his sisters, Marget Stiegler (Austinson) and Nordis Johnson (Austinson). He is survived by: his wife Cecilia "Sue" (Masilko); his daughter Karen Lewis (Brad); his stepsons, John Booker and Phillip Booker (Julie); his grandson Austin Thompson; and his sibling's children, Sara Johnson Sullivan, Kirsten Lysne (Rich Lay), Marit Lysne (James Rosati), Waldo Johnson, III, Michael Johnson, Mark Johnson and Erik Lysne. He is also survived by father to his three children.
