She is survived by: her mother Katherine Shutzie; her husband Dr. John Wagnitz, Sr.; her sons, John "Gabe" Wagnitz, Jr. of Wilmington and Karl "Tim" Wagnitz of Japan; her brother Charles Eckler; her granddaughter Erin Wagnitz of Wilmington; and her great grandchild Zaiden of Wilmington. She is also survived by her family as a loving mother.
