She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Kern Haynes (Rich) of Pinehurst; her daughter-in-law Ella Kern of Star; her grandchildren, Catherine Jacque Harman (Drew) of Aberdeen, Jack Milton Kern III (LeeAnn) of Cashiers, Peter Cameron Davis of Okracoke and Paige Louise Kern of Star; her stepgrandsons, Justin Hamlett (Breanna) of Trinity and Dalton Hamlett of Seagrove; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Jaxon of Millie, JJ, Jaysek and Jayin.
