He is survived by: his mother Marian Wilson Cornell; his children, Alisha "Nikki" Cornell and Aaron Mark Cornell; his grandchildren, Austin Avent, Tristin Avent and Aiden Smith; and his siblings, John Cornell, Michael Cornell, Dawn Hinesley and Wende Dakin.
