He was predeceased by: his father William Louis Kouns (Joner); and his wife Susan Quarles Kouns. He is survived by: his mother Mary Louise Remmele Kouns; his children, Sarah Dawn Kouns and Todd Louis Kouns; his grandchildren, Maria Kristina, Rachel Ann and Nathan Charles Kouns; his great grandchildren, Kaili Valentina, Kash Louis, Hosea Westin and Vivienne Dolly Susan; and his grandchild Luzviminda Kouns.
