He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Tarpley Walker and John Walter Walker; his siblings, John Walter Walker Jr. and Catherine; his sons, Thomas B. Walker, Jr. and Timothy C. Walker; and his grandson Steven Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Morris Walker; his grandson Justin Evans of Florida; his sibling's children, Edwin McNeill (Pat) and Cathy Owens (Eddie) of Raeford; his stepsons, John Mueller (Elizabeth) and Timothy Mueller (Kristin); his stepgrandchildren, Joseph of Southern Pines, Sara of Southern Pines and Matthew of Southern Pines; Jim, Michael, Will, David, Mike, Amy, Katie, Melissa, Stella, Elizabeth, Christian, Emmy, Finnley and Merrin.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial gift be addressed to the Foundation of FirstHealth Hospice, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374 or a charity of one's choosing.
