He was predeceased by: his father Shelton Deans; and his wife Yvonne. He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Deans and Leslie K. Thiel (Bob); his grandchildren, Tracy Deans, Elycia Atkinson (Seth), Thomas A. Deans (Ashley), Leah Thiel, Rose Thiel and Katherine Colberg (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Lahna Scholz, Rhett Henegar, Marshall Atkinson and Julian Deans.
