She was predeceased by: her husband Lynn Confer; her son Dana Confer; and her brother Thomas Herr. She is survived by: her son Timothy Confer (Susan); her grandchildren, Jennifer Card, Monica Edmundson, Jamie Confer and Tonia Zollner; and her siblings, George Sterling Herr, Jr., Joanne Kincaid and Roger Herr. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Her contributions to her home and community were deeply valued.
