She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Tinker Wood and Ruth Eggleston Wood; her brother Fahs E. Wood; and her close friend Richard G. Carter. She is survived by: her daughter Susan T. Covington (John); her granddaughter Rose B. Covington; her sister-in-law Diane Ball Wood; and her sibling's children, Fahs E. Wood, Jr. and Jennifer Wood Sullivan.
