She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Russ, Sr. and Mary Rees Russ; her husband Ivey Gaskill, Sr.; and her siblings, W. A. Russ, Eugene Russ, Jack Russ, Jimmy Russ and Mary Ann Wilkins.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Gaskill Russell (Tim) of Concord, Dawn Gaskill West (George) of Southport and Ivey Millard Gaskill, Jr. of Southport; her grandchildren, Erin West, Tyler Russell, Jordan and William Gaskill (Rachel); her great grandchild Saylor Russell; her siblings, Robert Earl Russ and Mary Russ; and her siblings-in-law, Elbert Gaskill (Sandra) and Effie Louise "Jim" Gillikin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peacock, Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service (1411 N Howe St, Southport, NC 28461). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Northwood Cemetery (711 E Longleaf Dr, Southport, NC 28461).
