We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2021, at the age of 48, Wesley Stuart Gescat (Southport, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wesley Garner and Grace Bowling. He is survived by: his children, Evan Stuart Gescat and Olivia Kimberly Gescat; his father Richard Gescat; his siblings, Timothy Garner Gescat of Southport, Jessica Paige Reeves of Erwin, NC and Amber Gescat-Perez of Tennessee; and his uncle Gregory Garner of Southport. He is also survived by several cousins and four nephews.

He contributed so much to Ocean View United Methodist Church, through working with the kids at Vacation Bible School, greeting people with a big smile as they came in for worship service, and just being there with his kids. It was so obvious that he loved children and all his fellow human beings and God. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Praying for his children and all his family and loved ones.”
