It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bronda Lee Horton of Sparta, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Horton and Grace Darnell Horton; her brothers, Farrel, Arnold and Rufus Horton; and her close friend Lois Brooks.
She is survived by: her brother Jerold Horton of Sparta; her cousins, Alton Darnell of Piney Creek and Linda Darnell of Florida; and her caregivers, Belvia and Ricky Johnson.
