We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2020, at the age of 72, Edward Lyons (Sparta, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Lyons and Annie Blackburn Lyons; and his siblings, Hardin Lyons, Thelma Harris and Imogene Swails.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Andrews Lyons; his children, Eddie Lyons (Sytiva) of Grassy Creek, Greg Lyons (Melinda) of Crumpler, Adam Lyons (Brittany) of Glade Valley and Alicia Andrews Ogle (Brian) of Seymour, TN; his grandsons, Andrew Roberts of Sevierville, TN, Elijah Lyons of Crumpler and Ethan Lyons of Crumpler; and his pet Tater. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
