He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Stamper of Lansing; his fiancée Julie Foster of Sparta; his brother Ronald Roten of Wilkesboro; his sister-in-law Ruby Roten of Wilkesboro; and his nephew Leslie Roten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
