It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Roy Billings of Sparta, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Paul Billings; and his son Daron Billings. He is survived by : his mother Mildred Rector Billings of Sparta; his wife Lois Chappell Billings; his sons, David Billings (Deana) of Sparta and Dwayne Billings (Becky) of Millers Creek; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Dean (David), Jeremy Billings, Brittany Billings, Breanna Billings and Chris Queen (Becky). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
