It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ina Freeman Hughey of Sparta, North Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bill Thomas Freeman and Nancy Elizabeth Stone Freeman; her husband John Ladson; her children, Carmen Rene'Hughey, Lauren Elizabeth Mertens and John Lee Abraham Hughey; her son-in-law Dillon Mertens; her siblings, Billy Freeman (Jane) and Elizabeth Freeman Moore (Barney); and her brothers-in-law, Tab Hughey (Darlene) and David Hughey (Vicki).
