Janet Rose Irwin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Rose Irwin (Sparta, North Carolina), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet Rose leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hudson and Opal Hudson of Alleghany County; and her brother Jerry Hudson. She is survived by: her husband Joe Irwin; her son Christopher Irwin (Sherry); her granddaughters, Crystin Stewart (Casey) and Bethany Cho (William); and her great grandchild Jonathan.
