She was predeceased by: her former husband Thomas M. Chapman; her sisters, Dacy Brown and Barbara Laux; her children, Karen Louise Campbell and Michael Timothy Chapman of North Dakota; her grandsons, Jason Christian Chapman of Florida and Jon Thomas Benton of Florida; her nephew Sandford Taylor, Jr. of Orlando; her pet Baxter; and her close friend Booboo.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Chapman Cahn (Jack), Dewey David Chapman Jacksonville (Nancy) and Thomas M. Chapman, Jr. (Pepper); her granddaughter Kristin Scobie Childress (David) of Statesville; her nieces, Sharon Larson of Alabama and Linda Sara of Jacksonville; her nephew Thomas Batten (Tombo) of Alabama; and her grandchildren, David Andrew Chapman and Jessica Poppineas (Brian). She is also survived by several great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
