He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard F. Royal and Minnie V. Hincher Royal; and his brothers, Willie Royal and Vernon Royal. He is survived by : his children, Gary Royal of Santa Rose, CA, Anne Schwarzkopf (Alexander) of Cologne and Laura Royal of Cloverdale, CA; his granddaughter Abagail Royal of Santa Rosa, CA; his stepmother Jettie Royal of Sparta; and his brothers, Carl Royal of Cody, James Royal (Evelyn) of Sparta and Clarence Royal of Statesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
