We announce the death of Karen Billings of Sparta, North Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackie Ray and Gencie Mae Bottomley Edwards; and her son Gabriel Billings. She is survived by: her husband Rex Billings; her daughter Carrie Brown (Ronnie) of Cowpens, SC; her brother Jerry Edwards (Crystal) of Ennice; and her half-brother William Flemming of Mt. Airy. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
