He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Savannah Warden, Sr. and Ollie Halsey Warden; his former wife Virginia Warden; his siblings, Inez Wissert, Angela Robertson and Charles Warden; and his grandchildren, Rachel Warden and Marshall Godwin.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Warden; his children, Jimmy Warden (Jaylene) of Piney Creek and Susan Sparks (Zach) of Wilkesboro; his sisters, Jean Warden Dustin of Punta Gorda, FL and Vonnie Testerman (Virgil) of New Castle, DE; and his stepdaughters, Linda Wyatt (Roy) of Crumpler, Joyce Reedy (Stanley) of Crumpler and Judy Moss (Joey) of Crumper. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
