We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 83, Richard Haywood Joines (Sparta, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Joines and Tilda Joines; and his wife Frances Crouse Joines. He is survived by: his sons, Dwayne and David (Mary Lee); his grandchildren, Lanea Mabe (Matt) and Cody Joines (Keeli); his great grandchild Will Mabe; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Crouse Reeves (Oscar) and Bill Crouse (Shirley).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grandview Funeral Home (789 Grandview Dr, Sparta, NC 28675). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
While the family appreciates flowers, donations in Richard's memory can be given to Sparta Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 365, Sparta, NC 28675.
