He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sabe Douglas and Irene Richardson Douglas; and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Pam Halsey Douglas; his children, Allison Douglas of Jefferson, NC and Derrick (Angie Douglas) of Crumpler, NC; his grandchildren, Sabe and Lettie Jo Douglas of Crumpler, NC; and his brother Brian Douglas of Blacksburg, VA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Elk Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (1900 NC HWY 93 Sparta, NC.).
