Wayne Edwards Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2022, at the age of 79, Wayne Edwards Jr. (Sparta, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Harry Wayne Edwards, Sr.; and his granddaughter Angel Rose. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn J. Edwards; his children, Wayne Aaron Edwards (Ann) of Blandon, PA, Tommy Edwards (Keyla) of Sparta, A. Trey Edwards (Hayley) of Fleetwood, Joshua Edwards, Candace Minton (Ricky) of Hays, Heather Klope (Peter) of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mickayla Edwards, Brianna Edwards, Alika Kanae of Fleetwood, Haley Marie Edwards, Nikolaz Angel of Sparta and Fourteen; his grandchildren, Olivia Rindfuss, Caroline Edwards of Wayne, A. W, Zachary Rector, Katelyn Rector, Chase Rector, Rickylee Minton, Christian Klope, Miranda Klope, Grayden Klope, Cody Irwin, Mya Edwards, Nova Edwards and Alamea Kanae; his great grandchild Elena Rector; his siblings, Mark Edwards (Lynn), Patricia Gering (Skeeter) of Winston-Salem and Barbara Slaughter of Trappe, MD; his brother-in-law William Maynard of Hays; and his close friends, Andy and Robin Blethen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
