He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Woodruff and Faye Fields Woodruff; his grandfather Wilburn A. Woodruff; and his siblings, Franklin Woodruff and Margaret Cron.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Woodruff; his brother James Woodruff; and his stepsisters, Betty Dass and JoAnn Gunter. He is also survived by four stepchildren; several nieces and nephews.
