She is survived by: her daughter Janie Brown Douglas (Cecil) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Mark Sanders (Jennifer) of Statesville, Renee Sanders of Troutman, Robert Sanders (Kelly) of Statesville, Colonel Clay Brown III (Jennifer) of Wake Forest, Jessica Geisendaffer (Jeff) of Wake Forest and Jenifer Otto (Dean) of Wake Forest; her great grandchildren, Maci (Justin), Clay, Kiersten, Alivia, Chloe, Justin (Ana), Hannah, Jacob, Graylyn, Eli, Jackson, Emma, Kaylee, Anna, Charlotte and Jude; her great great grandchild Juliana; her siblings, Mary Kennedy of Sparta, Jean Mitchell of Cherryville, Raymond Rector (Elaine) of Piney Creek and Cliff Rector (Shirley) of Piney Creek; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Brown of Wake Forest. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
