He was predeceased by: his parents, James Farmer and Mary Etta Cofield. He is survived by: his children, Tony Cofield of Speed, NC and Sharon Cofield of Speed, NC; his siblings, Thomas Cofield Jr. of Louisburg, NC and Ethel Mallory of Princeville, NC; and his granddaughter Maita Cofield of Speed, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Chapel (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
