He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Sturdivant and Magaline Sturdivant; and his siblings, Teresa "Tess" Sturdivant and Clay Anthony Sturdivant. He is survived by: his wife Mae Sturdivant; his children, Adrienne Byrd, Camille Mackey, Kevin Mackey and Chaddrick Sturdivant; his sister Natalie "Hope" Wallace (Preston); his sister-in-law Patricia Sturdivant; and his grandchildren, Avery Witherspoon and Aubrie Witherspoon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
