With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Goodman Hoover of Spencer, North Carolina, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Grant Hoover; her children, Michael Jowers and Ashley Moore (Terry); her brother Robert Goodman (Phyllis); her sister-in-law Sandra Goodman; her daughter Olivia Dunn (Joey); her stepdaughter Stacie Gilbert (Brian); and her grandchildren, Ava Moore, Jace Moore, Abigail Dunn, Caroline Dunn and Alex Jowers. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Rowan County Animal Shelter.
