He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Rakowski and Harriet Muehlbauer Rakowski; and his siblings, Lori Leuthardt, John Rakowski, James Rakowski, Ron Rakowski and Fritz Rakowski.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanya Jackson (Skip Albrecht) of Spindale; and his siblings, Andrea Crosby of Odessa, MN and Joel Rakowski of Kerkhoven, MN. He is also survived by six grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
