He was predeceased by : his father Amos Belk. He is survived by : his mother Audrey Walter Belk; his wife Ann Belk; his children, Brandon Belk of Wilmington, NC, Johnathan Robinson of Spruce Pine, NC and Jennifer Downing of Spindale; his siblings, Kevin Short of Florida and Barbie Overcast (Jody) of Tennessee; and his grandsons, Alex and Austin Carroll. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
