He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Talmadge Edwards and Doris Elizabeth Smithers Edwards; and his siblings, Matthew Edwards and Susan Edwards Elliott. He is survived by: his siblings, David Edwards (Kim) of Mill Spring, NC, Danny Edwards (Sharon) of Forest City, Sam Edwards (Sharon) of Bostic, Mark Edwards of Forest City, Sherry Edwards Smith of Charlotte, Martha Edwards of Fort Worth and Mary Edwards Ruppe (Terry) of Forest City.
