It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Powell Burgess of Spindale, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Powell and Ann Duncan Powell. She is survived by: her husband Danny Burgess; her children, Justin Burgess (Anna) of Ellenboro and Megan Parris of Spindale; her sister Julie Bumgarner (Danny) of Sandy Mush; her siblings-in-law, Randy Burgess (Sandy) of Forest City and Laverne Frietze (Bill) of Washington, D. C.; and her grandchildren, Jackson Burgess, Logan Parris and Kate Burgess. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
