She was predeceased by: her father Sherrill Irvin. She is survived by: her mother Myra Sims Irvin; her daughter Haley Powell of Rutherfordton; her grandchildren, Luther Herrera of Forest City, Diego Herrera, Reyna Herrera of Spindale, Adriana Herrera Hipp (Noah) of Spindale and Jose Herrera (Jason Sprouse) of Spindale; her siblings, Chad Nazelrod (Adena) of Rutherfordton and Lora Shires (Michael Hendrix) of Spindale; her close friend Jerry Frizzell of Spindale; her siblings' children, Megan Shires, Dustin Nazelrod, Bryson Shires and Waylin Shires; and her grandchildren, Angel and Sofia Herrera.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
